In short

  • For a Greek BOX NOW order, your packed parcel must fit an accepted compartment and the domestic maximum of 20 kg. The largest compartment listed in the current FAQ is 36 × 45 × 60 cm; your checkout also needs a valid locker choice and service coverage under your own contract.
  • The current English FAQ promises at least 24 hours for collection and an available 24-hour extension. Check the actual notification instead of publishing an assumed universal 48-hour deadline.
  • BOX NOW distinguishes merchant-to-locker delivery from its public locker-to-locker service. Their payment options and delivery descriptions differ.
  • A Greek BOX NOW merchant agreement does not establish that BOX NOW labels or Greek stock dispatch are available through AirPost.
  • AirPost is a peer-to-peer fulfilment network: online shops have their orders packed and dropped at a parcel point by verified people near their customers, who earn a fee per parcel from home. No warehouse, no minimum order volume.

Your customer chooses a convenient locker, but your packing team receives only a street address. Another customer adds an item that makes the parcel too tall for the selected compartment. Both orders can look complete in the shop while the physical delivery setup is wrong. For an online seller, enabling a locker logo is only the beginning. You need the customer’s location choice, the finished parcel and the contracted service to remain connected until handover.

Which packed orders actually fit a Greek locker?

Use finished parcel measurements. Product dimensions exclude the outer carton, protective layers and any second item in the basket. Check the complete packed weight too. The BOX NOW Greek shipping terms give the domestic weight ceiling, while the current English FAQ lists compartment sizes. Keep the relevant country rules beside the packing instructions; a limit for a different BOX NOW country is not a substitute.

Small8 × 45 × 60 cmCheck padding and any lid bulge within the low height

Large36 × 45 × 60 cmKeep every outer dimension within the offered compartment
Greece FAQ checked on 14 October 2026. Contract and booking availability still determine which option your merchant account can use.

Do not label every parcel under the weight ceiling locker-compatible. A light, long product can exceed a side limit, while a heavier compact parcel may fit. A packing decision should describe the chosen carton and the way the goods are protected inside it. If you rotate the carton to fit, verify that the contents can travel safely in that orientation. Treat a different packaging variant as a fresh check rather than approving it from the product’s weight alone.

The customer’s basket is the useful unit for this check. Separate items that fit individually might create an unsuitable combined order. Establish what your packing process will do when the finished parcel differs from the checkout estimate: select a supported larger compartment, split a genuinely separable order or use an agreed alternative service. Recheck the actual booking before promising any of these outcomes. The largest physical compartment is not proof that the requested booking is available.

What should your checkout save besides the customer’s address?

Save the chosen locker as a delivery selection that the packing and label process can identify. A copied street address does not necessarily identify the correct locker in the provider’s system. Compare the customer confirmation with the merchant order view and the issued voucher. If a customer returns to checkout and changes the selection, your order should retain the final accepted choice. An older location left in a note should not silently win over the newer selection.

The official WooCommerce manual, version 3.2.0, describes a locker ID and warehouse ID in the merchant order controls. It also ties shipping zones to the countries in the merchant’s contract. This is useful evidence of what the provider expects, rather than a promise that every shop platform uses identical fields. Ask your actual integration to preserve the same operational meaning: customer destination, dispatch location and parcel booking.

Check the path where a customer has chosen locker delivery without completing the locker selection. Decide whether your configured workflow requires that choice immediately or supports a documented later selection before dispatch. Verify the resulting order in the merchant system. A paid order lacking an actionable destination belongs in a resolution queue, not in automatic packing. Make the next action clear to the buyer and preserve the reason the booking has been held.

Which WooCommerce settings deserve a real order check?

The current manual gives a separate weight-unit setting that must match the store’s configured measurements. Check this alongside the maximum parcel dimensions for the relevant shipping zone. A value that looks sensible on screen can mean something different when the store uses grams instead of kilograms. Use a known packed product for the check and compare the configured unit with the stored product data before relying on the shipping method’s appearance at checkout.

The manual distinguishes manual voucher creation, which allows compartment selection, from automatic creation, which has fewer order-level controls. Choose the mode that matches how your packing process establishes the final carton. A mixed basket that often needs a packing decision benefits from that decision being made before the voucher. Whatever mode you use, confirm that the printed voucher belongs to the final customer order and the intended dispatch location.

How much time does the buyer have to collect the parcel?

The English FAQ checked for this article says collection is available for at least 24 hours after delivery, with another 24 hours available through tracking. Use the deadline and extension option shown for the actual parcel in your customer support. An older merchant page saying 48 hours should not override the current provider information. Put the collection message somewhere the customer can find it, including after the checkout session has ended.

BOX NOW sends a six-digit collection PIN when the parcel reaches the locker. That is why a usable recipient contact matters. Explain that the buyer follows the actual notification for collection and directions, rather than treating the shop’s dispatch email as proof the parcel is ready. Your support team should know how to distinguish a dispatched parcel, a parcel placed in a locker and a parcel collected. These are different events with different next actions.

A chosen location can also change when capacity is unavailable. The FAQ describes moving a parcel to a nearby locker when the selected one is full. Your order history should therefore preserve the customer’s original choice and the actual final collection information. Do not edit the original selection so thoroughly that you lose the reason for the support enquiry. Help the buyer use the current notification when the final destination differs from the checkout map.

Is BOX NOW cash on delivery the same as handing over cash?

For partnered e-shops, the FAQ describes BOX NOW COD as an online payment after arrival at the locker, with payment instructions sent to the buyer. Its public locker-to-locker service does not provide COD. Your customer-facing payment description must match the merchant service you have agreed. Someone expecting to put banknotes into a locker has misunderstood the offer, even if the checkout uses a familiar cash-on-delivery label.

The WooCommerce manual tells merchants to activate the special payment option only after coordinating with BOX NOW, and warns about configuration errors that can leave completed orders without payment. Check that the payment method is assigned to the intended shipping zones and verify the collection-payment outcome. Keep ordinary prepaid orders separate from those awaiting the contracted locker payment. The parcel’s physical arrival and receipt of the purchase money should remain separate records.

Where does AirPost fit if you sell to Greece from elsewhere?

For comparison, preparation of a compatible small parcel at an AirPost-supported origin uses a platform component of €0.85 and a recommended packing component of €2.25, totalling €3.10. These constants were checked on 14 October 2026. This subtotal includes neither transport to Greece nor BOX NOW charges, materials or additional agreed work. The sender’s actual packing fee determines your order budget.

AirPost’s product information describes shops placing stock with people who pack and dispatch customer orders. Greece is not in the checked list of supported sender origins. A Greek BOX NOW contract is therefore a separate option to investigate with that provider; this article does not establish a connection between it and AirPost’s label selection. Compare the real fulfilment arrangement, transport route and available delivery method. The guide to average shipping cost per order helps keep all cost components visible.

If you choose AirPost local fulfilment at a supported origin, agree which international destinations and parcel formats can actually be served. Do not promise Greek locker delivery because a local provider has a public locker map. The international handover must exist under a suitable service. Finish your decision with a booked-route check and a customer explanation of the actual collection method, rather than treating preparation and last-mile delivery as one assumed product.

Frequently asked questions

How do online stores use BOX NOW Greece?

Use a supported merchant arrangement with the provider, preserve the selected locker and issue a voucher for a suitable packed parcel. Check contract coverage and the complete customer payment path before enabling the method.

Where can customers find BOX NOW Greece locations?

Use the provider’s current locker selection. Save the accepted location in the order and follow the actual parcel notification if the final collection locker changes.

Can any parcel below 20 kg use a locker?

Weight is only one condition. The finished carton must also fit the offered compartment, and the contents and route must be accepted by the service.

Does cash on delivery mean cash at the locker?

The described e-shop option uses an online payment instruction after arrival. It differs from the public locker-to-locker product, which does not offer COD.

Can I book Greek BOX NOW fulfilment through AirPost?

This article does not establish that service. Check available AirPost origins and actual labels separately from any direct Greek BOX NOW agreement.

Check a sender at a supported AirPost origin and agree the packed format before comparing Greece delivery options. That gives you a real preparation cost to compare with your separate locker-service proposal.
