1. What AirPost does

AirPost is a platform that brings online shops (sellers) and individuals (senders) together. We take care of the shipping labels, the payments and the communication between the two. We carry nothing ourselves and we take no stock into safekeeping.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the details you give and for what happens with your account. Senders have to have their identity verified before their profile becomes visible. One account per person.

3. The agreement between seller and sender

Working together is an agreement between the seller and the sender. AirPost is not a party to it. AirPost brings shops and senders together and takes care of the labels and the payments. We do not take your stock into safekeeping and we are not a party to what the two of you agree. You choose who you trust with your things — use the identity verification and the reviews for that.

4. Stock and packaging

The seller sends their stock and their own packaging to the sender. That stock remains the seller’s property; the sender holds it for the seller, keeps it carefully and uses it only for orders from that seller. If the seller asks for their stock back, the sender returns it within 14 days; how they arrange that is between them. Stock that is not back after those 14 days is punishable as embezzlement (articles 321 and 322 of the Dutch Criminal Code) and the seller then files a police report. In that case AirPost shares the sender’s verified identity and address with the seller and the police, closes the account and holds the balance until the stock is back. These rules apply from 16 October 2026. Damage to or loss of stock falls outside our liability; we offer identity verification and reviews to support that choice.

5. Money

Sellers top up a balance in advance. On each shipping label we charge the shipping cost, the sender’s fee and our margin to that balance. Senders build up a balance they can pay out themselves from €10.00, against 3% platform commission per payout. A fee can be paid out three days after the shipment, so a cancellation can still be settled. All amounts are in euros, including VAT where applicable.

6. Shipping and carriers

We buy labels from carriers. Delivery itself is the carrier’s responsibility and falls under their terms. In the event of loss or damage we help file a claim, but we are not the carrier.

7. Tax

What you earn through AirPost counts as income. Declare it in your own tax return; the rules depend on where you live. We do not give tax advice.

8. Stopping

You can stop at any time. You finish outstanding shipments first, and we pay out any outstanding balance in the next round. We can close an account in the event of abuse, fraud or repeated complaints. As long as a seller’s stock has not been returned after being asked for, we hold the sender’s balance.

9. Changes

If we change these terms, we let you know at least 30 days in advance by email and in the app.
