In short

  • US Seller Fulfilled Prime standard-size offers must show delivery within one day for at least 40% of Prime customer page views, within two days for 75%, and within five days for 90%. Those are promise-speed targets, separate from actual delivery performance and trial eligibility.
  • Check your product’s size tier before calculating coverage. Oversize and extra-large products use different speed thresholds.
  • The temporary weekend exclusion runs through October 17, 2026; Amazon still expects trial and enrolled sellers to operate on weekends.
  • AirPost is a peer-to-peer fulfilment network: online shops have their orders packed and dropped at a parcel point by verified people near their customers, who earn a fee per parcel from home. No warehouse, no minimum order volume.

Shipping today does not necessarily mean your offer qualifies for Prime. Amazon evaluates how fast the promise looks to shoppers as well as how reliably the operation fulfills orders. You can meet a dispatch routine and still show too many distant shoppers a slower delivery date. Start by separating trial access, the current speed requirements and actual delivery results. Each answers a different question about whether your US operation is ready to offer the badge.

What are you qualifying for at each stage?

The US Seller Fulfilled Prime page describes prequalification, a 30-day trial and continued enrollment. Prequalification requires a domestic US default shipping address and a Professional selling account, together with the stated performance conditions. The trial provides one- and two-day template options; products gain Prime branding after you pass and enroll. Check the registration page for your actual eligibility rather than assuming ordinary FBM performance is enough.

Treat the stage shown in Seller Central as part of your launch checklist. A warehouse partner’s description of its fast shipping cannot tell you whether your seller account has passed the trial. Likewise, an approved account does not make every new SKU operationally ready. Decide which products you will include, where the stock sits and how the offered speeds will be supported. Preserve that selection so later inventory changes do not quietly expand the promise to unsuitable items.

Create a readiness record containing the account stage, enrolled SKU list, dispatch address and responsible operator. Add the current program dashboard and the person reviewing it. This is an internal management recommendation, not a new Amazon application requirement. Its value is that an operational change has somewhere to be checked before it reaches an offer. A new packer or a relocated stock batch should trigger a review of the route.

Which speed percentages apply to your product size?

Amazon’s US performance requirements, checked October 14, 2026, give the following minimum shares of Prime customer page views. The columns describe displayed delivery within the stated period. They do not mean that the listed percentage of your shipped packages can arrive late. Keep the page-view speed report separate from the delivery-event report.

Amazon US SFP performance guidance retrieved October 14, 2026. Use Amazon’s size classification and live dashboard for your products.

Do not classify a product from the informal name on your shelf. Establish the tier Amazon assigns, then inspect the relevant report. If packaging changes the parcel configuration, check the operational effects too: a heavier or larger shipment may need another service even when the product identity remains the same. Keep the product data, shipping configuration and carrier selection connected. Otherwise a speed target can look attainable while the real parcel is priced or routed differently.

How do you calculate a page-view shortfall?

Use a hypothetical cohort of 1,000 standard-size Prime customer page views to translate the table into counts. The minimums become 400 showing delivery within one day, 750 within two days and 900 within five days. These groups are cumulative: a one-day promise also fits within two and five days. You should not add the three minimum counts together as if they represented separate shoppers.

Suppose that illustrative report shows 390, 760 and 930 views respectively. The one-day column is short by 10 views, although the other two exceed their minimums. The example is arithmetic, not AirPost traffic or an Amazon trial-volume requirement. It helps you avoid averaging away a failed column. Use the exact cohort and definitions in the dashboard when making an account decision.

Find the ASINs and destinations behind the slow promises. Ask whether the affected stock actually dispatches from the origin used for that route, whether handling can be shortened honestly and whether a different service improves coverage. A national carrier advertisement does not answer a ZIP-specific promise question. Compare the same offer under the same conditions before and after an adjustment. Keep notes on what changed so the next review can distinguish a configuration improvement from a different mix of page views.

What changes when the weekend exception ends?

The performance guidance temporarily excludes weekends from speed evaluation from May 31 through October 17, 2026. It explicitly says SFP trial and enrolled sellers must still operate on weekends. As of this article’s October 14 check date, the exception is close to ending. Review any new announcement before relying on it beyond the published end date.

Audit the weekend chain as a physical operation. Can someone see the order, pick the correct item, finish the parcel and hand it to the intended carrier? A staffed packing table does not establish a pickup. A weekend delivery service does not establish a weekend collection from your address. Confirm both ends of the handover with the service you plan to buy. Then check how the promise appears for the destinations that drive your speed report.

Assign a backup for the person who monitors weekend exceptions. Give that person enough information to identify the affected offer and contact the operator. The fallback should be a documented response to missing stock or a missed collection, not an improvised substitution of a slower service. Preserve the decision and shipment record so any subsequent performance question can be answered using what actually happened.

Does the 100-package rule mean automatic removal?

Amazon’s official US SFP policy discussion describes the requirement introduced June 29, 2025 to ship consistently and reach at least 100 Prime packages monthly. Amazon’s moderator clarification says sellers below that volume can remain in the program while their daily Prime order limit is capped. Do not turn that clarification into a guarantee about your particular account; other performance requirements still apply.

For a small shop, volume and capacity need separate decisions. The amount you can prepare on a quiet weekday may differ from what you can absorb after a promotion. Set any available order control around the operation you can reliably staff and collect from. A cap is useful only if your stock and work queues also reflect accepted orders. Avoid promising the final unit through another channel while it is committed to a Prime order.

Monitor the dashboard by requirement rather than by a single feeling that shipping went well. Page-view speed, cancellation, tracking and actual delivery evidence represent different failure modes. If an email identifies one requirement, investigate that requirement’s cohort and definitions. A clean report for another metric is useful context but does not settle the flagged one. Keep the current policy linked beside your own numbers.

Can home-based stock or AirPost packing satisfy Prime?

Amazon’s US FAQ allows home storage and third-party solutions when they support program performance; it does not require a commercial warehouse. That permission does not approve an individual partner or label workflow. AirPost’s copy describes local senders holding stock, packing orders and handing them over, with Shopify automation. Verify every additional marketplace step before routing an SFP order through a proposed arrangement.

The AirPost US domestic page displayed USPS small-parcel Ground Advantage from approximately $7.78 on October 14, 2026, with the platform fee included and sender compensation additional. The USD figure is an indicative conversion, subject to a shipment-specific quote.

For four hypothetical ordinary labels at the displayed floor, 4 × $7.78 = $31.12 before packing compensation and materials. This calculation is a baseline for discussing physical fulfillment, not the cost of a qualifying one-day Prime route. Ground Advantage’s general service description cannot establish your Prime page-view coverage. Obtain the eligible service price for each actual origin and destination before calculating the margin on a Prime offer.

Use AirPost’s seller page to define the physical tasks and the domestic shipping guide to establish the real origin. Resolve the account, label and reporting workflow alongside them. You can then decide whether ordinary seller fulfillment or an SFP trial is the next workable step for the selected SKUs.

Frequently asked questions

Is Seller Fulfilled Prime available in the US?

Amazon’s US program page provides a prequalification and trial route. Availability of that route does not establish that your account is eligible today; check your registration page.

Does a fast dispatch rate prove my Prime speed performance?

Dispatch events and displayed delivery speed answer different questions. Inspect the page-view speed report as well as shipment performance.

Do I need a warehouse for Seller Fulfilled Prime?

Amazon allows different storage arrangements when they support the program requirements. Verify the actual preparation, carrier handover and marketplace workflow from that location.

Are the Prime speed percentages separate groups?

The delivery periods are cumulative. A faster promise also falls inside the longer periods, so adding the minimum counts would double-count views.

Can AirPost guarantee Prime eligibility?

AirPost’s documented packing model does not establish Amazon enrollment or a qualifying label route. Evaluate those conditions through Amazon and the specific operational arrangement.
